I specialize in video making as art therapy with children, teens, and adults to help them find calm and discovers solutions to challenges with anxiety, depression or trauma. I use a creative process with conversation to reveal strengths and bring insight and strategies to resolve problems. No video skills are required. I have clients using my therapeutic video making process at CancerCare Manitoba, Ndinawe temporary youth shelter and Manitoba School Divisions.
I offer a variety of creative activities that go into the making of a video including storytelling, drawing, drama activities or video editing to encourage individuals to express their voices, discuss their challenges and reframe their story. Within art therapy, I use a variety of therapeutic approaches including narrative therapy, mindfulness, Internal Family systems, and cognitive behavioural therapy. If this healing process connects with you, I am available for a free consultation to help you understand how making therapeutic videos can be a doorway to freedom and hope.
